Lack of parking spaces

The entertainment for New Year. The team worked really hard. The young lady on the reception was extremely friendly and nice - thank you!

Even though I was given a refurbished bungalow it looked exactly the same as that when we stayed in this hotel 7 years ago. The rooms smelled dump and not fresh. Curtains were dirty as well as there dust and sand on the floor.

The hotel is one block back from the promenade. It is at the quieter end of the town but plenty of “hostelries” and a supermarket five minutes away. Also a small fruit and veg shop selling fresh and organic produce. The room was a large open plan room with a kitchen area which had a two ring hob and microwave (with grill). There was a fridge.There was plenty crockery and cutlery. One downside was the coffee maker. It was a filter system. A cafetière would have been preferable. The bathroom had a large walk in shower with a large shower head. At the beginning of our stay the water took forever to heat up but “work was done” and afterwards it was piping hot. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed huge and comfortable. The lounge area had a large tv on the wall. BBC channels and ITV were available. The balcony had table and chairs and two sun beds. It faced the sea. The sun went round the balcony throughout the day. The facilities were kept clean. The room was cleaned five days a week (not Wed or Sun). The floor was mopped. Covid precautions were in place. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Any problems or queries were dealt with without hassle.
