Katrin Hostel is located in the historical center of Irkutsk. Near the hostel in walking distance are Lenin and Karl Marx streets, musical theater, drama theater, 130th quarter. The train station is 5 km away, and the airport is 6 km away.

Хостел расположен в здании бывшей усадьбы. Само здание очень красивое, общие зоны чистые и комфортные, особенно приятно на кухне. Душевые и туалеты с новым ремонтом и сантехникой. Кухня очень уютная и удобная. Есть микроволновка и плита, вся необходимая посуда, холодильник. Было предложено брать яйца для яичницы, чай и кофе с крекерами. Прямо напротив здания большой супермаркет. Несмотря на то, что здание расположено на пересечении автодорог, место совсем не шумное.

Спальни без окон, что не очень критично, если вам нужен хостел для ночёвки. Из главных лично для меня недостатков отмечу, что аппарат, который забирает в комнату свежий воздух, довольно таки шумный, так что чутко спящим может такой вариант не подойти. Странно, что туалетные комнаты отделены шторой, не дверью.
