Only stayed for 1 night. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location with a number of tourist attractions within a short walking distance (museums, the Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens). South Kensington underground station is close by so to provide access to central London. The room decor was modern, a very comfortable bed. Good size room for 2 persons and quite a spacious bathroom with a good shower and amenities. Soundproofing was excellent, with no noise from outside or from other guests. Breakfast is a buffet, good choice of continental and English breakfast items, quality of food is excellent. Bar/bistro offers a small selection of meals and wide a range of drinks. Cleanliness of the room and other hotel areas was to a high standard.

The area where breakfast is served is located on the lower ground floor so there are no windows or natural light in the room. The smoking area is located close to the bar/bistro with access via glass doors that open outbto the outside area. So if you're sat at a table close to the doors, when the doors open the cigarette smoke blows back into the bar/bistro. As a non smoker I found eating my meal and enjoying drinks with the smell of cigarette smoke to be irritating and unpleasant. You either move to a table away from the doors or endure the cigarette smoke.
