Just around the corner from a main square and a pedestrian shopping street, it's in a great location for anyone visiting Zakynthos town for lesieur. That little bit of difference (about 50 meters) also meant that it was less noisy outside the hotel. And I found it, overall, quite ideal.
Lots of options: sweet, salty, cold, warm. You will find all the standard options (muesli, fresh juices), as well as, those that are maybe more typically eaten there (cheese pies, spiced eggs, the local biscuits for dunking in coffee/tee, etc.) Every day there is a little bit of diversity: one day fried eggs, another scrambled with spices & peppers, or sausages. I enjoyed the delicious Greek yogurt and fresh fruit, myself. The service is also very good with staff wanting to be accomodating and to make you feel at home. Breakfast was ready for me early the day I needed to be at the port early for a tour, I just had to let them know I needed that.
Beautifully designed with an obvious attention to detail everywhere. I really enjoyed staying in my double room! There were also all of the creature comforts we come to expect: iron, a/c, mini bar, safe, TV, robe & slippers, etc. Everything was neat and clean and the maid service also left nothing to complain about - airing my room and making my bed every day. And deeper cleaning every couple days.
Everything was tidy and clean. The cleaner was also friendly when I encountered them in the hallway.
Staff actively asked about my plans and needs during my stay, in order to accomodate to my needs however they could. For example, having my breakfast ready a little earlier, asking to call me a taxi. Everyone was positive, friendly, and polite. Communicating in English was very easy. I would 100% stay here again!
