Many things were bad. Breakfast: you can skip the included breakfast, it's not worth it. Limited food selection. Flatbreads + 2 dishes, disgusting instant Nescafe instead of coffee, fruits (apples, papaya, bananas) cut with a knife that was previously used to cut onions, so you eat them with the taste of onion and other vegetables. What prevents them from using a separate knife is a mystery. Maybe they only have one for the entire hotel. The most expensive room: hot water is enough for one person, the second one showers with lukewarm water. The hotel offers desert safari. We used it. The manager who "organized" it for us: 1. Of course calculated the dollar conversion rate in his favor, so it came out to 4500 rupees/person. 2. Promised us lunch upon arrival (supposedly included), didn't meet us when we returned, so we ended up going to a nearby restaurant ourselves. What we ultimately got for this money: 1. Visit to the abandoned village of Kuldhara, where entry costs 50 rupees/person 2. Visit to the "desert" by jeep. In reality, they drove us for 5 minutes over two dunes, did several circles around them. That's it, the end. 3. Camel ride through the desert. In reality, you spend three minutes going down a dune, the remaining 20 minutes they lead you along paths through villages full of trash on the roadsides. 4. Water and fruit, probably worth about 200 rupees in total. Thanks a lot. Overall, a dubious experience, absolutely not worth the money, better to look for other travel companies in the area - there are plenty of them and all offer individual tours. Even with the offer to call us a taxi to the airport, this manager didn't stop in his desire to profit. Offered it for 1000 rupees, we ended up calling an Uber for 500 rupees. Absolutely mesmerizing and fantastically surprising with his unsophisticated simple desire to profit from unprecedentedly overpriced services in return certainly need to have a particular mindset for that.
