This little Hotel is in an amazing spot - for everyone visiting Moscow, no matter 1st time, for a longer or shorter stay. All recommendations, location is excellent, 10-15min walk to Red Square. Metro is also near, and you can easily arrive at all city parts in 15-20 mins by it.
The room was clean, warm, and relatively quiet (no noise from the street), and everything was nice. It's all you need for a basic stay at a hotel in an excellent city location.
The staff were very nice and helpful, specially woman working at the reception and the guy Sergey - he helped me a lot and gave useful advice. Also, they let me leave my luggage the whole day until my flight (which was at night) - which meant a lot as I got almost one day more to freely walk the city without the luggage. So thanks a lot for this!
In general, I warmly recommend this little Hotel for 1st visit to Moscow, or for a business trip - it has all the basic things you need and excellent location!
The only moment I didn't understand which a bit made impression less than excellent (which I was very sorry, as everything else was amazing) -
One morning, I woke up by random sound in my room, and I see a random men passing through the room and closing the door. It was early morning and still dark. I came to him, asked was he in the room - he just said " nothing, sorry!" I think it was the technical repairer/master who works there. But still, it was weird and uncomfortable specially while alone and sleeping. I could be in the shower or whatever....
It is not normal that someone enters your room while you're in it! I didn't say anything to the receptionist, but this should not be allowed to happen.
This is the only thing. Nothing was missing from my things, so I guess he just entered to repair something in the bathroom, maybe ... but, still, weird.
Besides this, everything else was amazing!
