the staff is nice, the lady didn't speak English, but with the translator we succed in understanding each other.

Room might be a little too crampy but it's good for a night or two

Basic hostel with all you need. Dorm with curtain, shower and toilet clean. The woman at the desk was nice. Location is really convenient (10min walking to the train station, restaurant and grocery around).

It was really warm in the room when I was there so we had to let the windows open.

there was a nice girl who figured I am in trouble with my visa card not working tried her best to offer me help as she could. for example offering to not charge me for laundry in exchange for positive rating. (I can pay using my visa card online for hotel but had no cash and no way to bring it into their system because of sanction) circumstance I was in i had money but couldn't use it. but she tried to help and i appreciate that.

since my visa card dint worked and the lady who offered to do my laundry for free wasnt around I asked a grumpy woman in reception to charge me for an extra day and do my laundry (3 times what they charge for laundry) she stared at my face for a while took her time and translated the word no in her translation app. Strange but a funny approach. i smirked and avoided from being in her sight all the days I stayed there. (spent 3 days drinking only coffee which was free thankfully) untill tbank mir card arrived and I was a able to top it up with some proxy but obvious ways to bring currency from my own account to rubles. adventure for sure but a lesson learned. yoloing isn't always fun.
