Important information
Since October 2017, all owners of quadrocopters and other unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) are required to register their devices with the National Television and Radio Commission of Thailand (NBTC). In case of violation of the order, Thai law provides for a penalty of up to five years in prison and / or a fine of up to 100 thousand baht (about 3 thousand US dollars).

Under the new immigration procedures, effective May 1, 2025, all foreign nationals entering Thailand by air, land or sea must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online form on the official website of the Bureau of Immigration of Thailand three days prior to arrival.
All travelers are required to provide one of the following certificates when entering Phuket: 1. Official vaccination certificates showing that at least 14 days before arrival, travelers have received either 2 doses of the Sinovac/Sinopharm/Sputnik V/AstraZeneca/Pfizer/Moderna vaccine, 2 doses of mixed vaccines in accordance with the notice by the Ministry of Public Health, or 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. 2. Proof of a negative RT-PCR or antigen test result issued within 7 days before traveling to Phuket. Any person who has recovered from COVID-19 for at least 90 days must also provide a medical certificate.
