A city tax is applied to guests aged 16 or over as follows, charged directly by hotel: from November to March: EUR 1.00 per night per person, to a maximum of EUR 5.00 per person per stay, from April to October: EUR 2.00 per night per person, to a maximum of EUR 10.00 per person per stay. Superior Room is located in main building, remaining room types are located in adjoining buildings. Extra bed size is 85 cm x 180 cm. Sofa bed size is 100 cm x 190 cm. Starting November 3rd, the hotel will resume improvement works in the garden rooms area of the Pestana Vila Sol Hotel. These works may cause some visual and sound impacts in this area during working hours, without compromising the hotel's services. The works will be carried out in phases to minimize the impact on guests experience. In summary: Between November 3rd and November 23rd 2025 – the hotel will resume improvement works in the garden rooms in isolated blocks in the garden area; Between November 24th 2025 and February 15th 2026 – the hotel will operate only the 49 rooms in the main building, maintaining all other hotel services. All previously confirmed reservations will be honored, and starting November 24th, all reservations will be allocated to Superior Rooms in the main building.
